Dear Reader,

All my life I have been looking forward to the years when I’ll be in high school and college. When I was in first grade, I had to walk by the high school to get to my school, and I would always look up at the BIG 11th and 12th graders and I thought boy they are so lucky!!! I’ll probably never be that old I thought I would stay a little girl forever. I couldn’t imagine my self-grown up or in high school. Now I have finally reached that age that I was always dreaming of when I was a little girl. I am that 11th grader that I wished to be, and at the same time in college. Up until this last year, English was my favorite subject; it was always an easy A for me. At the high school, we never really had to do much in our English classes, but college is definitely not high school. I now have to struggle for that A. Now in college, I had to create a portfolio for my English 101 class. This portfolio is a collection of different types of work that I’ve done through out the quarter. Enjoy reading my writings and not just the best of my work, but the downs of it as well.
